The height of your walls and ceilings will dictate which size of pole you will need. For most standard height ceilings (8ft to 9ft) a 4-8ft pole should be sufficient. But if you have vaulted ceilings or will need to paint a higher wall you can get a 6-12 ft pole or 8-16 ft pole for those hard-to-reach places.
6. Safe and Sturdy Ladder: The size of the ladder you will need will depend on the height of the areas you need to reach. A six-foot ladder should be sufficient for most standard-sized rooms but if you need to reach an area over 12 ft we recommend getting an extension ladder. Painters will typically use aluminum ladders for their light weight and ease of moving but if you plan to use the ladder for any projects involving live electrical wiring you will want to use fiberglass.
